Course Assistants from Wolfram Alpha

I’m predicting that this is where reference information is going.  This is targeted toward people taking the class, but as an engineer, I need to access references from classes I’ve taken in the past, and forgotten.  Textbooks need to die, and there needs to be a consistent reference that quickly refreshes me on the topic and gives me the essential equations.

Bringing Great Design to a Forgotten (but growing) Market- Omhu

I think that this is a great opportunity for well-designed products.  It is both a challenge for designers, and a place where great design really has the opportunity to improve quality of life.  The icing on the cake is that it’s a growing market.  Kudos to Omhu and other startups who spotted this niche.
